The last few days have yielded a handful of entertaining photos, of which an embarassing number are hibiscus. 'Tis the season, and they are at their most gorgeous. Together with some of their fellow floral island dwellers, they form the core of this all-vegetarian page. The title is inspired by the late Rev. William Archibald Spooner, with a tip of the hat to The Stapital Ceps.

I don't think any two of these pictures show the same individual hibiscus. Not that it woulld be easy to tell the difference.
