Before we get along into the no-longer-so-new year,
I'll show a motley
assortment of 2025 photos that somehow
didn't make it up at the time.
Plauen, Germany
Plauen once again played host to a happy musical gathering. This band in
particular knocked a number of socks off!
Nuernberg, Germany
An under-sung major city, a well-placed stepping stone
between western Germany and the highlands of Saxony and Bohemia. It is a rare Summer that
I don't savor a few days in Nuernberg.

Edinburgh, Scotland
My first time in Scotland, and goodness exploring Edinburgh is a treat. I've learned
since that there a major neighborhoods that I never knew about -- that is what next time
is for!
At my age, Stairs can feel like an imposition, but The Scotsman Steps are worth the
effort. They take you between Waverly Bridge Station and the Old Town, and entertain you
with a different color and pattern of stone on every step.
London, England

Only in Las Vegas can you get the Opera Garnier and the Eiffel Tower in the
same photo.
At the Forum Shops it is always the blue hour, after sunset
and before night.
Rhodes, Greece
By now, Rhodes should feel like coming home for the night.
