Rhodes, Greece
Finally! A week of gorgeous bright days, trying hard to make it up to us all
for six weeks of rain! Get out there and get some images while they last!
Mind you, the rain is moving back in tomorrow for at least a week, if my
phone's weather widget is to be believed. It is wrong pretty often. Weather is
even more chaotic than usual in this corner of the Mediterranean.
Me, I'll be in the air at the crack of dawn, day after tomorrow. I may well use my
umbrella going to Rhodes airport, but it is not coming on the plane with me. Italy is
predicted to be sunny the whole four days I am there. (Yay!)
Clear is nice - warm is something else again. I am not likely to see 70F.
Not even in California at the end of next week, still less in Frankfurt the
night before.
What the hey, enjoy the sun pictures!
They are all from Rhodes this time. The day trip to Kos island will wait for
another post.
Somewhere in those six weeks of rain, we had some pretty ferocious winds.
Here is what they did to the line of flags on the Mandraki breakwater.
In honor of election season on the ole internet, where this page is going to
get posted.
When I was young, a troll was just an old Christmas song! Who else remembers
Troll, the
Ancient Yuletide Carol?
G'night everybody!
