Rhodes, Greece
First look left ...
... then look right.
If a lemonade is made from lemons, why isn't a colonnade made from colons?
Probably because nobody would walk in one if they were.
Sorry I asked.
Across the road from the colonnade is this little old cemetary with lots
of old-looking tombstones, many in Arabic script, which was used for writing Turkish
in Ottoman times.
Some tendrils hanging from a biggus ficus tree in the plaza out front. I have
never figured out whether these tendrils are part of the ficus itself, or
just some aerophyte, parked there opportunistically.
The common room during one of several recent power failures. They seem to
happen when lightning approaches. Must be some transformer on a hilltop or
something.
Mandala, a colorful, quirky bar & restaurant in the old towm, with the
most interesting spicy cooking I have found in Europe.
A mild, overcast day out front of home.
Yrs Trly is demonstrating why he
wants to lose some fat.
