Paris, France
Since leaving Paris, I've spent a week in the Canary Islands, and I'm now in
Barcelona for a planned week. Still on the Paris pictures though, so here goes.
April in Paris seems always cold. Spring, this is not!
Still, that can mean drizzly and reflective ...
... or bright, and reflective in a different sense.
Pathway in the Sky
A former rail line, elevated trestle and all,
is now a "linear park" arcing across
the 12th Arrondissment.
The Promenade Plantée makes an off-beat break from tourist Paris.
The Promenade's alternate name: the Green Coulee.
Sign Spotting
Berlin Kebap
Yup - direct from the second-largest Turkish city in
the world.
I'd rather not think about
why vinyls and burgers might belong in a bar together.
Punsters at work in a bread and pastry shop.
Any Sherlock Holmes fans out there?
Here it is - the honest-to-goodness Sign of Four
Wiggle Water
When the light is good, the Medici Fountain in Luxembourg Garden is a
bottomless trove of these pictures.
A stony medieval aristocrat.
She looks like nobody to cross.
Across the lazy river,
live humans enjoy pre-Spring on the Right Bank
of the Seine.
