Today's pictures are all from Luxembourg Gardens, arguably
the city's nicest park.
Nearby, the oddly asymmetric towers of St Sulpice church.
Inspired by Florence's Boboli Garden, the (more-or-less) Italian-style park
was built to please a French Queen who missed her native Florence, Italy.
The French Senate now meets in her former palace.
The Medici Fountain, a cool fountain with a great reflecting pool.
