Nerja, Andalucia, Spain
A last small handful of images from Nerja, Spain, before I returned to California
at the end of February.
Nearby roofs, seen from my little hotel's roof lounge.
Vistas on the coast.
Bocce Ball, or however it is called in Spain.
A group of foreigners trying their hand at the venerable game.
The first time I have ever seen it played by women. That is a step
forward, I guess.
I first knew the game as a child, watching my Italian grandfather
and uncle play. Goodness knows what they would have thought about women playing.
Last light of the last day in town. "As the red sun sinks ..."
Madrid
A stop over night in the capital, for the sake of its airport.
Where to go in Madrid,
at least in the Puerta de Atocha train station.
Evening on the Gran Via.
Toodaloo!
