A surprising remnant of the turn-of-the-century times, when Bratislava's Old City
was a place "where only thieves and fools would go".
This building has sat there like this ever since I've been coming
here (inclding the
renovate me graffito!), while its surroundings have evolved through
charming recovery, then gentrification, and - increasingly - outright corporate
exploitation.
