Wellington has a colorful nickname: Windy Welly!
The winds here are legendary... but they never blew so you'd notice while I was here.
Le sigh!
Let's wrap up Welly for now, to move southward.
You can't ask for nicer vistas over the bay.
Hm... Rosie seems to get around. Her Cantina was in Auckland, too.
In both cases, they are on the harbor front.
Off to my right I see five mounted cowboys ...

Even an unexciting residential neighborhood has a flash of pizzazz.
Behind a colorful hex facade stands some kind of utility box.
The central business action seems to center around a pedestrianized street,
the other side of the city center from my apartment.
A bit of a hoof for an old guy like me, but I can use the exercise.
I never did laundry in Christchurch.
Twice in Welly and, later Melbourne but not here.
Still, the venue (so to speak) made a good picture.
