A handful nice pictures, but in near black-and-white, and generally dark.
For balance, I interspersed them with a handful of lighter-than-average images.

Stroll through the Wood Between the Worlds
By now, the D'Amboise Gate may be starting to look familiar.
In a tunnel through the wall into the moat.
I was treated to some flashy formation aerobatics by a flock of pigeons.
Not even starlings - just common or garden variety wingrats.
Probably the first time I have ever applauded pigeons! (And possibly the last.)
Where the sun seldom shines: a narrow lane facing east-west.
There it is, another mixed bag of winter picture-taking.
