Olomouc, Moravia, Czech Republic
No real theme here, just random images from a couple of afternoon rambles around town.
The promised Astronomy Clock pctures are getting a post to themselves (mostly).
"Next time for sure."
Dorm, sweet dorm.
One of those tiny windows on the left is my bathroom; I think the third one up.
In fairness, this is the back side of the building. The other sides are less blah than this, if not exactly old town masterpeices.
We all know that columnar monuments are often considered phallic to one degree or another. If you go whole hog and say "All of them, totally, all of the time, that's what they are!" ,you may have fun interpreting this spiral one in Lower Square. (If it helps, my freebie map shows it as the Mary Column.)
A covered shopping street. These are called pasaž here. (I'll re-discover the Slovak word for them next week when I go to Bratislava.)
Mlınskı potok
(Mill Creek), a tributary of the Morava, between dorm and old town.
