Nürnberg, Germany

Unlike Salzburg, Nürnberg lends itself to photography, and least when the sun cooperates. Characterful sights are spread out with plenty of room for good light to reach them.

The road to Elbingen. By rights, that should be where the Elves (Elben) live.

Give my regards to Elrond.

The kitchen of my friends Micha and Karin, with whom I spent a night, and rode up to Plauen the next morning. Thanks guys, as always!

Even a laundromat can display interesting wisdom sometimes.

Before inserting money, close dryer and press "start" button once. If dryer does not start, insert 1 Euro.

Nürnberg sits on the small but picturesque river Pegnitz. This view upstream is a real classic. I think I even posted a similar view when I passed through here in 2007, on my way between Polish eye surgeons and Croatian dental surgeons.
