A bunch of random images from my last day in Košice, which I left this
morning.
The journey home has begun.
What does a tourist hostel look like? The K2 in Košice looks like this.
Basic, but quite pleasant.
Much nicer easthetics than the workers hostel in Poprad, where the main
difference to a prison is that you have the key (as Rick Steves once
said). For 11 euro / night that is plenty difference enough.
My room in Košice was actually a 3-bed. Having it to myself cost me 17
euro / night. Still a bargain.
Shock-o, eh?
It's Sunday! Everybody with a Mercedes SL c'mon down and park on the
tram tracks.
I have read that Plague Columns not only memorialized the dead, they
mainly expressed the gratitude of the survivors.
