In a major square, a public dispenser for (free) plastic sacks
for dog droppings! Why don't they have these everywhere?
The Birds
Up there on the roof, at the base of the big stone spike.

A big nest for a big bird.
I last saw storks nesting in Selcuk, Turkey, two years ago this month.
By rights you'd think they should be ungainly critters, but they are
beautiful, especially when they are airborne. I haven't yet managed a
photo of an airborne one. There appear to be babies in the nests.
All right, that is really a pigeon, but he flew
into my picture at exactly the right moment, which
is more than I could get the storks to do.
