Images - Zadar, Croatia 2010 & 2013
The end may be approaching for these Pages of Pix from the Past.
Not for lack of pictures, but because I am on the road again.
In Rhodes actually. Greece requires a (expensive!) negative Covid test, and a form I
filled out online, with personal and contact information. (Actually, nobody in
Greece has looked at any of that stuff - I needed it to get on the plane from Madrid.)
For tonight, the pictures are still from the past, from Zadar, Croatia -
home to some of the nicest sunsets, and a cool spot to watch them from.
Bocce ball! You find it when you are least looking for it!
Standing on History - Roman history.
The golden hour - the hour or so before sunset - can be a good picture-taking time
anywhere, but it seems to be especially intense in Dalmatia. I remember the evenings in Zadar
and Split as glowing.
Let's enjoy another of those serene Dalmatian sunsets, down at the Sea Organ.
Adjacent to the Sea Organ is another cool sunset spot, the
Salute to the Sun.
