When you let Rome
speak for itself, there isn't much more to add to what it says.
Least of all when your keyboard bounces bad enough to all but
guarantee typos. So let's launch right in.
On previous trips to Rome, I had never explored the ancient
part of the
city. So that is how I used my one day in the Eternal Urb
this time.
You don't cruise the ancient ruins without seeing a lot of
your fellow tourists, and hawkers of all sorts.
Curiously, if you sight down the track of the Circus Maximus, it
points your eye toward St Peter's dome.
