A couple of places I hung out a lot in Paros.
First, Pebbles Bar, a good-jazz
bar with two friendly bartenders and an
excellent wi-fi connection to the web. (And fine greek
coffee.)
Pebbles is upstairs from Le Bistrot restaurant run
by a nice youngish
Greek chef
and his French wife.
I mention this because the "upstairs" part means the view from the
terrace can be panoramic on a good day.
Lastly in place of honor, Rooms - Mike, aka Mike's
Rooms or even Studios Mike.
Mike is friendly, unsparingly helpful,
centrally located, and cheap. Ya can't bet that combination.
Like
many Greek balcony doors, Mike's leak water into your room if you
forget to close the shutter when it rains. I only did that once, and I
found the handy mop and bucket in a closet by the shared kitchen. Here
we see the afternoon sun shining through the shutters.
