Almost all of these pictures are little things I see strolling the maze
of little streets in old Parikia,
the capital town of Paros.
Reflections in a shop window. The bright thing is some kind of crafts
lamp. See the whitewashed pavement on the narrow pedestrian
street?
If your browser uses white for a background color, you won't be able
to see the wall in this picture - just the blue vent or whatever it is.
I'd love to get a cent royalty on every liter of whitewash sold in the
Cyclades.
This monkey guy sits in a
niche by the door of a bar, closed still for
the winter.
Did I mention the seriously blustery wind? These little floral
guys are well aware of it.
Detail on the old church
in front of the Frankish fortress on the bluff between the port and my
wireless jazz bar.
Yet another in a long series of photos of palm trees in late afternoon
sunlight.
A truly seductive pastry
shop in the old town of Parikia. It goes on like this around
three sides of a room about size of a hefty restaurant.
