Aya Sophia is a greek name meaning both Holy
Wisdom and Saint Sophia. Take
your pick. For a thousand years it was the largest enclosed volume in
the world.
It is a low-light place, so these are dark pictures. They are also all
vertical pictures, what the graphics arts folks call protrait
mode. It is that kind of place.
I know virtually nothing about the place. Rather than speak from
ignorance, I'll just show the pictures.
