On the Waterfront

Not real shoes - a sculpture work. This is about a quarter of the metal shoes along the riverfront. I don't know of any story behind it. "But there they are", as the Firesign Theatre used to say.

Parliament Square I think it is called. That is the parliament building reflected in the windows of the Sofitel multi-star atrium hotel, where my sister stayed a couple of years ago.

I felt like I was getting away with something, just walking onto the premises - seriously underdressed, that is. Nice boy, but sharp as a pound of wet leather.

The stuff felt a bit dry for water. Maybe the idea is to not soak the customers? Dehydrated water.
