I mentioned before that the streets of old Bratislava have a whimsical population of sculpted people.
They are all life size, the same as anybody else.
Here are some of them.

Čumil

I dunno what it means, but Čumil is his name. He has actually been run over before by unsuspecting motorists, which led to a warning sign. He is hugely popular with the tourists. They love to lay hands on him and have their pictures taken with him.

Paparazzo

Raymond Chandler would have loved this guy. He'd have been right in place in The Big Sleep.

The Passage People

This young woman and man hang out in a shopping passage, on opposite sides of a skylit cafe area.

Is she a hooker?  Or just hanging out?
Yakking on a cell phone?

He is staring hard at his watch.

Is he late?
Or contriving to avoid eye contact with her?

His expression looks uncomfortable for whatever reason.

The Bench Guy

Speaks for himself.

Like Čumil, people love to have their pictures taken with this guy.

Maybe he is Napoleon?  He looks kind of short, and wears that eighteenth-century officer's uniform.

Standing Guard

Guarding nothing in particular near the side of the Main Square. He is easy to overlook, doing his boring job uncomplainingly.
